Practical information for families.
A few of the things parents often want to know before arranging a visit or joining the school.
What are the school hours?
Our school is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Individual classes have different morning drop-off times, which we will confirm when discussing placement.
How many children are in a class?
We have seven classes, with a maximum of 12 children in each class.
How many terms are there?
There are three terms each academic year: September to December, January to March and April to July.
Can my child join during the academic year?
Children can join at the start of a term, subject to the appropriate class and availability.
What languages are introduced?
Basic French and Kiswahili speaking and listening activities are introduced from age three.
Does the school offer swimming?
Yes. Younger children use warm paddling pools, while children aged three and above have swimming lessons in our heated child-sized pool.
What additional activities are available?
School life includes music, movement and drama, horse riding and computer learning. Optional activities may include ballet, Monkeynastix, fusion dance, tennis, golf, soccer and drama. Term offerings may vary.
Does My School support children with additional learning needs?
Yes. Our Inclusive Learning department includes qualified teachers and occupational therapists. Because every child’s needs are individual, we encourage families to speak with us directly about the most appropriate support and placement.
What should I do first if I am interested?
Book a school visit. It is the best way to see the classrooms and grounds, meet us and discuss your child.
